Firmly Grasp It
The bike works(more or less), but the screws keep falling out. This causes problems in every part of the bike. So I shall be looking for a ThreadLocker that will keep the screws in place, but not as permanent as a weld so I will still have access to the screws if I need to make further adjustments to the bike.

Slightly Functional
Everything is connected, but I still need to make some major improvements. The gas line works, but something on the inside is causing it to leak. The spark plug will generate a spark most of the time, but due to the high oil content in the gas it gets a lot of gunk on it and needs to be cleaned. The muffler needs to be welded on because it almost falls off after every time I start the engine.
Loose chains can cause problems.
The tension-er would keep coming loose due to the shaking of the motor, so I needed to find a way to stop the disk that holds the chain from falling down. I found that the nuts and bolts from my fence fit in the frame perfectly. So I took one out of the fence to add into the tension-er, and it seems to hold it in place. This is a pretty important step because if the chain gets too loose it can clog like it did before.
The tension-er also keeps the chain aligned with the gear to keep it from falling off so thats why I cant just remove a few links. Removing the links would also make it harder to remove the chain in the future if I need to get into the carburetor again.

A Jingle Jangle
There is a strange noise coming from inside the engine itself. I'm pretty sure something came loose due to the bike vibrating like a dryer. It sounds like its in the carburetor, and I'm pretty sure that the same noise is affecting the throttle. Ever since the sound started happening the engine stalls out when I pull the throttle back.
The mixture
Without a certain oil to fuel ratio parts of the engine could burn up. This is why when you first run an engine you need to use more oil than usual to make sure everything comes out right. For my moter I use regular gas, and the Yamaha 2 stroke oil. The gas to oil ratio for the first 300 miles is 16-1 and after that it will mellow out at 25-1.
What needs to happen
The breaks on the frame do not work at all. I tried to replace the pads, and I tightened the actual cable, I even replaced the cables but that didn't seem to work. So now I think the best course of action would be to purchase a small disk break that would work with the frame. I prefer a disk break to a classic break just for the fact that it would be easier to install. The frame wouldnt work with a normal bike break system so I would have to weld it/drill the spots out and bolt it in. The disk break will work much easier and will probably have more friction and allow me to stop sooner and safer at high speeds.
Getting The Clutch Set Up
I got the clutch cable inserted to the clutch which is pulled by the left hand side brake. I replaced the front breaks with a clutch for easy access.
Some Chain Complications
I have mounted the motor onto the bike and it will run for a short time, but every time i run it something else breaks. For example, i was riding it to test the tension-er was in the correct place and the chain suddenly snapped into a stuck position.
As you can see in the picture, the chain got wedged in between the gear and the actual casing. This could have ended much worse if the engine was running any faster because the chain is actually made of a stronger material than the case its in so if it collided fast enough it would have shattered it. I had to take out the master link in order to get it out of there. The master link is a part of the chain that is removable and can be put back on without having to shatter a link.
I ended up getting it back into place without assaulting the outer shell, or breaking any links in the chain.

Throwing science at the wall
After inspecting the frame I have realized that it needs some basic repairs. The back breaks need to be fixed, the gear cable needs to be moved, the front breaks need to be removed, the cup holder needs to be removed, the chain needs to be replaced, and the entire frame needs to be sprayed down due to the huge amount of rust found on the gears, chain, and breaks.

Fix Er Up
I have ordered the motor in the mail and it is expected to come in next week. So while I wait for that I will be preforming maintenance on the bike i'm using as the base for my motor bike.

Gathering Scrap
I have collected a bike to use as the main frame for my DIY motor bike. It needs some work on it like a seat, a chain, and Breaks. Besides that its a nice bike. I've also ordered a 80cc 2 stroke motor online to put on the bike. It comes with some parts, but I still need to purchase some mounts that will fit the motor and bike. A proper chain because the one it came with was too flimsy for me, and a couple dozen nuts, bolts, washers, and lock washers to ensure that the bike is well built.
